Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb large shrimp, peeled
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Crusty bread to serve

Method

  1. 1 Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2 Melt butter over medium-high heat and bloom the garlic and pepper flakes for 30 seconds.
  3. 3 Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear two minutes per side until pink and curled.
  4. 4 Finish with lemon juice and parsley and serve with bread for the pan sauce.
