Classic Lasagna Bolognese
Layers of pasta, slow Bolognese, and bechamel baked until bubbling and golden.

Ingredients
- 12 lasagna sheets
- 2 lb ground beef and pork
- 2 cups tomato passata
- 3 cups bechamel
- 2 cups mozzarella
- 1 cup Parmigiano
- 1 onion, carrot, celery
- Olive oil
Method
- 1 Soften the minced vegetables, brown the meat, add passata, and simmer the ragu two hours.
- 2 Build layers of pasta, ragu, bechamel, and cheese in a deep dish.
- 3 Repeat until full, ending with bechamel and a heavy blanket of cheese.
- 4 Bake at 375F for 40 minutes until bubbling, then rest 15 minutes before slicing.
