Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 1 cup San Marzano sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Semolina for dusting
  • Flaky salt

Method

  1. 1 Heat the oven and a pizza stone to 500F for at least 45 minutes.
  2. 2 Stretch the dough thin and dust your peel with semolina.
  3. 3 Spread a thin layer of sauce, dot with torn mozzarella, and slide onto the stone.
  4. 4 Bake 7 to 9 minutes until charred at the edges, then finish with basil, oil, and salt.
